Attorney advertising disclosures and the limits of what is on this site.

This website is an advertisement
This website is a communication by the firm and is an advertisement for legal services.
We are a private law firm. We are not a government agency, a court, or a legal aid or nonprofit organization, and we are not affiliated with any of them.
Responsible attorney
The attorney responsible for the content of this website is Bryan Fazio, Esq.. The firm's registered name, State Bar number and office address are published here and in the footer of every page before this site accepts a single client.
Not legal advice
This website is an advertisement for legal services. Everything on this site is general information about California record-relief law, not legal advice about your case. Reading this site, using the eligibility check, or sending us information does not create an attorney-client relationship. No attorney-client relationship exists until you and the firm sign a written fee agreement. California law changes; each page shows the date its legal content was last reviewed.
No guarantee of results
No attorney can guarantee the outcome of any case. Courts decide these petitions, and prior results do not predict or guarantee a similar outcome in your matter. What we can promise is that we will tell you honestly where you stand before you pay anything.
What "expungement" means here
California does not erase or destroy criminal records. Relief under Penal Code section 1203.4 lets the court withdraw the plea or set aside the verdict and dismiss the case, which releases you from many of the penalties of the conviction. The record still exists, and: the conviction can still be used against you in a later criminal case; it does not restore firearm rights; you must still disclose it when applying for public office, for a state or local licence, or to contract with the California State Lottery; and some offences are not eligible at all. Anyone who tells you they can erase, clear or seal your record completely is not describing California law accurately.
California only
This firm practises California law and handles California cases. We cannot clear a conviction from another state, a federal conviction or a conviction from another country, and we will tell you so rather than take the work.
Testimonials and results
There are none on this site. We do not publish client testimonials, review counts, star ratings, case results or statistics about outcomes. If that ever changes, anything published will be real, verifiable and presented with the disclosures California requires.
Free alternatives exist, and we will tell you about them
California grants a great deal of record relief automatically and at no cost, and many county Public Defender offices run free record-clearing clinics. Where either applies to you, our eligibility check says so instead of quoting a price. How automatic relief works.
Legal information on this page was last checked against primary sources in October 2026. California law changes; if you are reading this long after that date, confirm before you rely on it.
